Steven Ohlhausen - Founder/President
Steven Ohlhausen grew up in Chicago, Illinois with three other siblings. Growing up, the family supported his father’s legendary invention and business. In the 1980s, Steve worked with his father, Howard, who is the original inventor of Rain-X. After graduating from the University of Arizona, Steve helped pioneer the glass protection category in the automotive industry. He also played a key role in securing sponsorships, including Mario Andretti in NASCAR. As a result, Rain-X has become the top brand for automotive windshield coating in the US. Over time, Steven became President of Unelko and continued to lead the way in glass protection worldwide. Today, the Invisible Shield Glass Preservation Coating is a widely used and distributed product by top shower door and window companies in over 60 countries. Retailers across the nation are now stocking the emerging brand, Invisible Shield, to provide an easier and more efficient way to clean and maintain glass.
Heather Ohlhausen-Lyons - VP of Marketing, Sales & Communications
Heather Ohlhausen, who grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona as the eldest of 4 siblings, developed a strong work ethic and business acumen at a young age. As an expert in the hospitality industry, and lead in training new employees, she utilized her BA in Business and Sociology from ASU to become a successful Marketing & Sales Director at Unelko. As a product or industry expert, Heather has visited more than 15 countries to promote the Invisible Shield and conduct research on the various nano coating markets. Her extensive knowledge in nanotechnology and surface coatings has led to her 15-year tenure at the company. In her personal life, as traveling has calmed, Heather prioritizes healthy and sustainable living as a mother of two.
Hayley Ohlhausen - VP Corporate Administration
As a 12-year veteran at Unelko, Hayley Ohlhausen brings extensive expertise to her role, overseeing logistics, documentation, orders, contracts, and purchasing agreements. With the highest certifications in worldwide shipments of chemicals, she previously managed Unelko’s European office before returning to the corporate facility in Arizona to start a family. Additionally, she holds a Hospitality & Business Degree from Northern Arizona University and has a passion for beauty aesthetics.
Tracy Matzen - VP Franchise Business Development
Tracy Matzen is a highly experienced individual in the fields of operation and business development. Throughout his career, he has been a part of successful ventures with major companies such as MCI Communication and DIRECTV. Prior to joining our affiliate, Unelko Corporation, as Director of Growth and Strategy, Mr. Matzen held the position of Director of Operations at CFT Inc. in Carefree, Arizona. During his free time, he enjoys spending time at his home in northern Arizona with his wife and daughters, surrounded by nature.
